Our Story
The Wosilat Foundation was born from a simple idea - that every minority youth deserves the opportunity to achieve their wildest dreams. We believe that with the right skills, experiences, and support, anyone can become a leader, an entrepreneur, an artist, a writer, a thinker, or a builder. And we are here to help make that happen.
Our founder, Oluchi, was inspired by her Nigerian grandmother, who had forged a path for her family without a formal education. She had shown that climbing to the top was not limited to a ladder - it could be done with creative solutions and unconventional thinking. Her grandmother's bravery and determination sparked a fire in Oluchi that continues to inspire her today.
At the Wosilat Foundation, we understand that the world needs more than just leaders and entrepreneurs. It needs artists to create higher cultures, writers to craft better narratives, thinkers to forge new paradigms, and builders to materialize abstract ideas. We are here to help the next generation of minority youth become those people.
Our programs are designed to give young people the tools they need to succeed. We offer mentorship, educational support, and leadership training, as well as opportunities for internships and job shadowing. We believe that with the right support, every young person can reach their full potential.
Our vision is to create a world where all young people, regardless of their background, have the chance to achieve their dreams. We know that it won't be easy, but we also know that nothing worthwhile ever is. With the Wosilat Foundation, we are taking the first steps towards a brighter future for all.

Oluchi Chukwunyere
Founder / President
Oluchi embarked on her professional journey as a Software Engineer, honing her skills in developing code for internal macOS Swift Apps that facilitated the localization of Apple Software. However, driven by her passion for product development and business acumen, she transitioned into the realm of Technical Product Management to expand her horizons.
Alongside her technical prowess, Oluchi harbors a deep interest in film and visual design, allowing her to embrace a diverse range of creative disciplines. Rejecting the notion that success is confined to traditional paths, such as law, medicine, or engineering. Oluchi aims to push the boundaries of what is possible, empowering others to unleash their own creativity and drive innovation.

Director
Tosha Pullen is a seasoned and service-driven administrator with nearly two decades of experience in the North Carolina educational sector. Recognized for her inclusive and supportive leadership approach, Tosha effectively oversees school policies, procedures, and activities. Her unwavering dedication to excellence is reflected in her efficient and precise execution of tasks. Moreover, Tosha is a catalyst for change in education, driven by a strong commitment to making a meaningful and positive impact in the field. With her extensive expertise and visionary mindset, she continues to inspire and transform educational environments for the better.

Director
Dorian Holmes is an engineering graduate from North Carolina A&T University, leveraging his engineering background and passion for business to serve as the CEO of Fireside Solutions. With a strong focus on empowering black-owned businesses, he spearheads efforts to establish their scalable digital presence and adopt cutting-edge technologies. Dorian's mission is rooted in service, as he assists these businesses in utilizing technology to provide greater value to the communities they serve.
